Tony Bennett (1926-present) was a guest star on Episode 106 of Muppets Tonight.
He also performed a duet of "Firefly" with Kermit the Frog on his album, "The Playground."
In one of the more recent seasons of Sesame Street, during an episode involving Slimey going to the moon, he sang a parody of "Fly Me To the Moon" (first recorded by Kaye Ballard), "Slimey To the Moon."
Discovered by Muppet Show guest Bob Hope in 1950.
